The Brief
Monarquía’s 2024 Holiday campaign was centered around creating a cinematic experience for their customers. The concept followed the Monarquía woman (MLxF Girl) as the protagonist in a series of retro, nostalgic-inspired videos. These short trailers serve as the gateway to the holiday narrative, where the MLxF Girl moves through key end-of-year moments, embodying empowerment and grace through her signature jacket, her "armor." The idea was to capture these moments with cinematic flair while connecting with customers by portraying their own lives reflected in the MLxF character.














The Solution
We created a six-part video series that showcases the MLxF Girl in nostalgic, retro visuals. Each video captured moments of her wearing her signature jacket, embracing the holiday season with elegance, style, and heart. This storytelling approach was designed to evoke emotional connection with the audience, blurring the lines between the protagonist’s story and the customers’ own. The supporting visuals – including branded popcorn packaging, mini popcorn ornaments, and old-school movie posters – further extended this film-like experience.









For the collateral design, we focused on creating an immersive holiday experience for customers. The branded popcorn with the MLxF label and mini popcorn ornaments brought the cinematic concept to life, while the old-school movie posters and festive packaging designs (wrapping paper, gift tags) reinforced the seasonal connection. These designs reflect the MLxF brand’s unique, stylish voice while aligning with the holiday theme, reinforcing the idea of customers experiencing Monarquía as part of their own holiday movie.
































The Instagram feed showcased the MLxF Girl’s winter journey, blending cinematic visuals with nostalgia. Each post felt like a movie scene, creating anticipation and engagement around the holiday experience.
