The Brief

Trazo, an artisanal wear concept store, sought a bold rebranding to define itself as the go-to destination for modern, fearless women. These women, who embrace individuality and confidence, needed a brand that celebrates self-expression through style and attitude. Trazo wanted to reflect a daring spirit, combining fashion-forward design with the essence of craftsmanship and authenticity, all while empowering women to wear what they love without compromise.

The Solution

We developed a comprehensive brand identity that not only resonates with the modern woman but also establishes Trazo as a trailblazer in the fashion world. The visual identity, with its clean lines and bold typography, communicates confidence and elegance, while the carefully chosen color palette reflects earthiness and authenticity, symbolic of the artisanal craftsmanship behind every piece. The use of minimalism in the logo and design ensures that the focus remains on the powerful attitude and the products themselves.

Naming

The name "Trazo," meaning "mark" in Spanish, was strategically chosen to represent the bold, intentional footprints that women leave in the world. This concept of "tracing one's path" is captured visually through strong, defined lines and space in the design, which also mirrors the idea of creation and individuality.

The decision to go with a strong, sans-serif typeface for the logo reflects modernity and strength. The juxtaposition of bold text and subtle supporting elements ensures that the design remains sophisticated yet impactful. The earthy color palette—muted browns and creams—echoes the brand’s artisanal roots and commitment to high-quality craftsmanship, while providing an elegant contrast to the edgy attitude of the brand.


In terms of imagery, we opted for high-contrast photos that emphasize the unique, bold nature of Trazo’s offerings, presenting the brand's products as more than just clothing, but as statements of personal style. The visuals focus on the empowered woman, confident in her skin, walking through the world with purpose.
